Removing Company and Director information from search engines

All of the company and director information on Company Searches Made Simple comes from Companies House. For this reason, we cannot remove or amend these records. Please see our Listing Policy for more information.
Can I stop my details from being published?
Whilst we can’t remove or change any information on our website, we can stop certain company and director information being accessible from search engines.
How do I remove my details from search engines?
If your request is about a limited or non limited company, please provide:
- Company name
- Company number
- Full URL (get this by searching for the company, clicking View Details and copying the full page URL from the address bar)
If your request is about a director, please provide:
- Director name
- Full URL (get this by searching for the director, clicking View Details and copying the full page URL from the address bar)
Simply email [email protected] with the above details and we’ll take care of the rest.
What if my information is still visible on search engines?
To remove your information we set a hidden “noindex tag” to the listed page. The removal will only come into effect when the search engine re-crawls the page and sees the noindex tag. Until that time the page will continue to be visible. Unfortunately we have no control over when this is done.
